Finger Lakes Bicycling Events / Finger Lakes
Cycling Events Calendar
Cycling events throughout the Finger Lakes, New York State
The Finger Lakes Region of New York State is famous for its beautiful
scenery, wonderful wide paved shouldered State maintained roadways and low trafficked
county roads. The eleven Finger Lakes are crystal clear glacially formed lakes. These deep
lakes are a joy to see. The bicyclist can discover hidden villages and towns on well
maintained municipal, county, and state maintained roads, trails, and paths. In this
essentially rural region farm and home markets appear on roads around and between every
Lake.
On the steep hillsides surrounding many of the Lakes are wineries, some
dating to before prohibition. Motels, bed & breakfast lodgings and as well as
private and state campgrounds allow the you to tailor your visit to your taste.
